Janice C. Golden - Black Oak

Janice C. Golden, 76, of Black Oak, died Tuesday, March 14, 2006, at her residence. Born in Hornersville, Mo., she lived in Black Oak her lifetime. She was a homemaker and a member of Black Oak Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Belinda Hansen, of Jonesboro; a son, Ricky Golden, of Osceola; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Golden; parents, Eli Burley and Emily Marshall Carter; a brother, Tommy Carter, and sisters, Gwen Peete Copeland and Laverne Brooks.

The funeral was held at 1 p.m. at Black Oak Baptist Church with J.W. Gibbs, Chad Morgan and Ulysses Vandemolen officiating. Burial was in Monette Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ronnie Qualls, Jerry Wilcox, Terry Qualls, Tony Hickman, Danny Qualls and Jim Ladd; and as honorary pallbearers, Allen Earnhart, Johnny Grisham, Norman Williams, Ray Goodson and Donald Rodgers.
