Norman Walter Garver - Leachville

Norman Walter Garver, the son of the late Gustav and Pauline Rauhut Garver and husband of Billie Fern Pylant Garver, died at the age of 86 on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2006, at Arkansas Methodist Hospital in Paragould.

He was father to Gloria Adele Horwath of Chicago, Bette Jean Huet of Northport, Ala., and Ann Evelyn DeStefano of Sugarland, Texas. He was grandfather to Dana Becker and Amy Hokanson of the Chicago area, and to James, Roxanne and Bridget DeStefano of Sugarland, Texas. He was great-grandfather to Julian Becker and Nathan and Madelynn Hokanson of the Chicago area and father-in-law to Patrick Huet and Jim DeStefano.

A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. at his home in Leachville on Friday and Saturday. Gregg Funeral Home of Monette was in charge of arrangements.
