"We are playing some of our best basketball of the year right now," said BIC Head Coach Mike Kinard. "This is the best time to be playing your best ball. We have experience going into the District Tournament, and we think we have a very good chance to win the tournament. We are healthy now and it is good to get Katie Olive, who has been nursing a knee injury, back."
BIC will enter the Senior High District Tournament at Marmaduke as the number one seed and will play a 6:00 p.m. game Wednesday night. The Lady Mustangs will face the winner of a game to be played between fourth seeded Riverside and the winner of the Walnut Ridge-Bay game. BIC, the regular season conference champion, has already qualified for next week's Regional Tournament to be held at Earle.
