Anna Mable Shockley - Manila

Anna Mable Shockley, 87, of Manila, died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2006, at NEA Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born at Ogden, she was the daughter of the late T.L. "Bud" and Minnie Mae Fletcher Goodman and had lived most of her life on Buffalo Island. She had lived in Manila for the past 18 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Clarence Shockley of Manila; two brothers, Ted Goodman of Ft. Smith and Bob Goodman of Caraway; a sister, Lucille Poe of Black Oak; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church in Manila with Rev. Ferrel Duffel officiating. Burial was in the Manila Cemetery under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Manila.

Pallbearers were Greg Poe, Scott Towles, Blaine Morgan, Andy Hatch, Brooks Hatch, Justin Davis, Brian Raymond, Chris Poe, Matt McClelland, Kyle Kennerich, and Cade Qualls.

Honorary pallbearers were Steve Goodman, Dan Goodman, Cole Goodman, James Poe, Elvis Poe, Mark Poe, Tommy Towles, and Mr. Shockley's Sunday school class.
