Survivors include a daughter, Ernestine Harrell, and husband, Bill, of Monette; three sons, Wayne Ray, and wife, Kaye, of Hattiesburg, Miss., Gary Ray and his wife, Myra, of Lakeland, Tenn., and Tommy Ray and his wife, Bertha, of Monette; a daughter-in-law, Katherine Ray of Pasadena, Calif.; nine grandchildren, Robert and Rick Harrell, of Monette, Lori Devereaux and Michael Ray, of Hattiesburg, Jeff and James Ray, of Pasadena, Tony Ray and Misti Smith, of Manila, and Eric Ray, of Monette; eight great-grandchildren, Brian and Hannah Harrell, Brent, Lexie, Fisher and Reed Ray and Thaylen and Ali Smith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Quitman E. Ray; her father, George Green Parks; her mother, Lona Myrtle Hall; a son, Anthony Ray; two sisters, Mildred Rosinski and Thelma Culver; and four brothers, Ishmael, James, Willie and Cecil Parks.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. today (Tuesday) at Gregg Funeral Home Chapel in Monette with Rev. Jerry Reed and Rev. William Piercy officiating. Burial will be in the Macey Cemetery.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Monette Senior Citizens, Cameron Smith and Jeff Devereaux.
