Clifton Leon Dunlap, 59, of Leachville, died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2005, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born at Monette he was the son of the late Harlan Lee and Pearline Pruitt Dunlap and was a lifelong Leachville area resident. He was a 1964 graduate of Leachville High School, U.S. Army veteran and a retired service manager for Baker Implement Company in Blytheville.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Oscar and Virgie Dunlap.

Survivors include his wife, Patsy Logan Dunlap of the home; a son, Chris Dunlap of Leachville; two daughters, Melissa Sims of Blytheville and Lynette Dunlap of Leachville; six grandchildren; Josh Freeman of Leachville, Nichi Holt and Weston Holt, both of Blytheville, Hannah Dunlap and Ferras Dunlap, both of Fayetteville, N.C., and Shane Dunlap of Batesville.

Funeral service was 2 p.m. Saturday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Rev. Russell Rhodes officiating. Burial was in the Leachville Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Jackie Lawrence, Jimmy Adams, Koehler Blankenship, Kevin Crossno, Drew Blankenship and David Crossno.

Honorary pallbearers were Cloyce Puckett, Ron Glass, Glenn Cumbie, Bill Decker, Rob Jones and Clarence Crossno.
