Riverside Jr. High Quiz Bowl team wins first place

Riverside Junior High Quiz Bowl team won first place in the Quiz Bowl competition held at Bay on Saturday, Feb. 4.

Members of the team are Cam Casey-captain, Katey Campbell, Nick Bagley, Bryan Poe, Ashley Calvert, Kyley Campbell, Amy Morley, Ashley Morley and Kara Gross.

The team will travel to Batesville on Feb. 25 to play in the state Quiz Bowl Tournament.

The team is under the direction of Brenda Hutchison, Riverside Gifted and Talented teacher.

Among teams competing were Bay, Walnut Ridge, Maynard, and Buffalo Island Central.

Riverside elementary quiz bowl team recently won first place in their age division.
