Services for Sybil Graham Safley, 91, who died Jan. 25, 2006, in Vicksburg, Miss., were held in Greenwood, Miss., Saturday, Jan. 28. Interment was held at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Greenwood.

Mrs. Safley was born Nov. 5, 1914, at Alicia. She was married at Monette on Sept. 26, 1931 to T.J. "Pap" Safley. She was a resident of the Poplar Ridge Community until 1942 when they moved to Phillip, Miss.

Survivors include a son, Billie Safley of Vicksburg, Miss., five grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; a sister, Willene Jarrett of Walnut Ridge and a nephew, James Whitten of Monette.
