Elma Tucker Bley - Monette

Elma Tucker Bley, 91, of Monette, died Monday, Jan. 30, 2006, at her residence. Born in Greenfield, she lived most of her life in Monette. She had worked as a clerk for Watkins Rexall Drug Store in Monette for 14 years. She was a member of Monette First United Methodist Church and was a member of United Methodist Women.

Survivors include two sons, Ralph Bley of Monette and Jerold Bley and wife Jan, of Winder, Ga.; a daughter, Margaret Smith of Champaign, Ill.; a sister, Caryl Hooker of St. Charles, Mo.; a grandson, Bruce Bley and his wife Vickie, of Monroe, Ga.; and a niece and nephew.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Bley; son, Donald Tucker Bley and parents, Elmer and Essie Ewing Tucker.

The fuenral was held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Gregg Funeral Home Chapel in Monette with Rev. Jerry Reed officiating. Burial was in Linwood Cemetery in Paragould.

Pallbearers were Sonny Wimberly, Paul Baker, Doyle Yates, Gene Gathright, Jim York and Jody Brown.
