Marcelite Loretta Loane, 87, of Manila, widow of Charles Loane, died Sunday, Dec. 18, 2005, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born at St. Louis, Mo., she was the daughter of the late John and Pearl Sinclair Ross and had been a Manila resident for the past 10 years. She was a retired nurse's aide and attended Westside Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son, Lee Van Ralston of Farmington, Mo.; a daughter, Carol Ann Galloway of Manila; three grandchildren, Michelle "Shorty" Martin, Annette McCallie, both of Manila, and Sherry Huddleston of Leachville; and six great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Manila Cemetery with Rev. Stephen Waggoner officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Howard Funeral Service in Manila.
