Raymond K. Baldridge, 75, of Monette died Monday, Nov. 7, 2005, at NEA Medical center. Born in Childress, he lived in the Monette area his lifetime. He was a retired school teacher and was a charter member of the Calvary Full Gospel Church in Cardwell. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 558.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Betty J. Baldridge of the home; a son, Kevin Baldridge of Lake City; a daughter, Diann Blevins of Little Rock; a brother, Devane Baldridge of Monette; a sister, Amanda Copeland of Stigler, Okla.; eight grandchildren, Laticia Rickter of Senath, Micah Edwards of Monette, Aaron Baldridge of Lake City, Elizabeth Rayburn of Little rock, and Danny Ray Baldridge, Jr., Sonia Friar, Candis Robinette and Ryan Baldridge, all of Jonesboro; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walker and Elsie Grady Baldridge; a son, Danny Ray Baldridge Sr., and a grandson, Chad McElroy.

The funeral was held at noon Thursday at Calvary Full Gospel Church in Cardwell with Pastor Leland Dement and Larry Woodward officiating. Burial was in Macey Cemetery near Monette.

Active pallbearers were Larry Bibb, Sammy Bibb, Mike Jones, Joe Bost, Jerry Bibb, Donnie Bibb and Dr. Dennis Parten.

Gregg Funeral Home of Monette was in charge of arrangements.
