Norma Lou Griffith, 76, of Paragould, formerly of Manila, died Monday, Oct. 31, 2005, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould. Born in Paragould, she was the daughter of the late John and Iva Dollar Steele and had been a Manila resident for 21 years before making her home in Paragould in 2000. She was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include her daughter, Karen Kay Dermigny of Maryville, Tenn.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and two nieces.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Howard Funeral Chapel in Manila with Rev. Stephen Waggoner officiating. Burial was in the Manila Cemetery.
