Thomas Wilson Middleton, 92, of Leachville, died Friday, Oct. 28, 2005, at his home. Born at Senath, Mo., he was the son of the late James and Emma Pierce Middleton and was a lifelong resident of the Leachville area. He was a former cotton gin bookkeeper and was a retired farmer. Mr. Middleton was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a Methodist and member of the Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include his wife, Alma Ruth Langley Middleton, of the home; three daughters, Ellen R. Jernigan of Hernando, Miss., Tommye Ruth Cornish of Leachville, and Connie Diane Dobbins of Marmaduke; a brother, Paul Middleton of Jonesboro; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Monday at Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Rev. Donnie Hudson officiating. Burial was in the Leachville Cemetery.
