Kenneth Roy Puckett, 63, of Caraway, died Thursday, Oct. 20, 2005, at his residence. He was born at Leachville and lived a lifetime in the Caraway and Hancock Community. He was the owner of Puckett Insurance in Caraway since 1967. He graduated from Caraway Central High School in 1960 and attended Arkansas State University. He was associated with Union Life, AFLAC, Blue Cross & Blue Shield, Protective Live, and numerous insurance companies. He was an Honors Club member, past member Arkansas Life Underwriters Association and Arkansas Health Association. He was a member of Rowes Chapel Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Lawson Puckett of the home; two sons, Allen Puckett and Mike Puckett, both of Caraway; three grandchildren, Kolten Puckett, Madallyn Puckett and Grance Anne Puckett, and a step-grandson, Wyatt Wheaton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Bonnie Wright Puckett, and a brother, Jim Puckett.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Gregg Funeral Home Chapel in Monette with Rev. Rick Stevens. Burial was in Caraway Cemetery under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.
Active pallbearers were John Starnes, Hunter Miller, Ronnie McFarlin, Roger Bell, Jerry Ball and Buster Campbell.
