Herman Lee Stacy, 67, of Leachville, died Monday, Oct. 17, 2005, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was the son of the late Jefferson Leon Stacy, a lifelong Leachville and Manila area resident. He was a retired farmer.
He is survived by a son, James Lee Stacy, of Cardwell; two daughters, Doris Jean Morris of Paragould and Teresa Jean Johnson of Leachville; his mother, Mattie Copeland Thomas of Blackshear, Ga.; two brothers, Leroy Thomas of Mancelona, Mich., And Theodore Thomas of Lunsford; three sisters, Lydia Thrift of Waycross, Ga., Nellie Swain, and Susan Albretton, both of Blackshear, Ga.; five grandchildren, Shona Johnson Fry, Joshua Stacy, Frankie Pierce III, Christy Pierce, Kayla Stacy; and a great-grandchild, Chloe Pierce.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Leo White.
The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Brother Eddie Hawkins officiating. Burial was in the Leachville Cemetery.
