Paul Earnhart - Jonesboro

Paul Earnhart, 85, of Jonesboro, formerly of Caraway, died Monday, Oct. 3, 2005, at NEA Medical center in Jonesboro. Born at Black Oak, he lived most of his life in the Caraway-Lepanto area before moving to Jonesboro two years ago. He was a retired farmer and a member of Community of Christ Church in Caraway.

Survivors include a son, Gary Earnhart, of Caraway; two daughters, Janie Qualls of Lake City and Paula Earnhart of Caraway; a brother, Dwayne Earnhart of Frostproof, Fla.; a twin sister, Pauline Jones of Black Oak; eight grandchildren, Karen Bruce of Monette, Jason Kelly of Memphis, Christopher Earnhart of Caraway, Debbie Fletcher and Jenifer Earnhart, both of Jonesboro, and Jill Miller of Lake City, and Kenny Qualls and Michael Kelly, both of Lake City and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Carmack Earnhart; two brothers; and a sister.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Emerson Memorial Chapel in Jonesboro with Bruce Primm officiating. Burial was in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Kenny Qualls, Michael Kelly, Jason Kelly, Christopher Earnhart, Garrett Qualls and Caleb Bruce.
