Gladys Penrod - Lake City

Gladys Penrod, 94, of Lake City died Monday, Aug. 22, 2005, at Skillcare Nursing Center. Born at Cotton Plant and formerly of Lake City, she was a homemaker. She attended Lake City Church of Christ.

Survivors include a sister, Billie Winford, of Jonesboro.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Burt and Katherine Anderson and four brothers.

A graveside service was held at 10 a.m. Thursday in The Old Military Cemetery at Sedgwick. Bookout Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
