Linda Joyce Mason, 51, resident of Manila Nursing Center in Manila, died Aug. 13, 2005, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. She was born on Feb. 11, 1954 in Lepanto. She was of the Pentecostal faith. She was the daughter of the late Leater Mason of Arkansas and Sarah Jackson of Tennessee.

She is survived by four sisters, Joann Ward of Manila, Rosemary Deharren of Manila, Virginia Huckabee of Lepanto, and Dora Merritt of Shreveport, La.; two brothers, Woodrow Mason of Manila and Gerald Mason of Caraway; and very special in-laws, Edward Ward, Frank Merritt, Anita Mason and Bobbie Mason.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy Lee Mason and Michael Wayne Mason.

The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola with Brother Alvin Wilbanks officiating. Burial was in Garden Point Cemetery in Etowah under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola.
