Glenda Spaulding

Glenda Spaulding, 71, of Blytheville, died Saturday, July 23, 2005, at her residence. Born at Leachville, she was a longtime resident of Blytheville. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Marion Spaulding of the home; a son, Alan Spaulding, of Blytheville; a daughter, Leigh Anne Ljunggren of Minot, N.D.; three brothers, Harold Ray of Jonesboro, Ralph Ray of Hernando, Miss., and Joe Ray of Germantown, Tenn.; a sister, Margie Goff of Keller, Texas; four grandchildren, Mark Bivens, Amy Tillman and Ashley Powell, all of Blytheville, and Madyson Ljunggren of Minot; and a great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Benjamin and Evie Murphy Ray; four brothers and three sisters.

A graveside service was held at 3:30 Tuesday at Elmwood Cemetery with Dr. Jimmy Russell officiating. Cobb Funeral Home of Blytheville was in charge of arrangements.
