Larry Don Ward, 57, of Arbyrd, formerly of Leachville, died Friday, July 29, 2005, at his home. Born in Hornersville, Mo., he was the son of the late Elbert and Naomi Rooney Ward and had been a lifelong resident of Southeast Missouri and Northeast Arkansas. He was a farmer and of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by a son, Jeremy Hogland of New York; two daughters, Sarah Farmer of Jonesboro and LeQuinta Flanigan of Manila; and four grandchildren, Brittney, McKenzie, Jarren and Jesse.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Jones Ward, two brothers and a sister.

A graveside service was held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Leachville Cemetery under the direction of Howard Funeral Service in Leachville.
