Shawn Lynn Parsley, 17, of Manila, died Monday, May 30, 2005, at the Med in Memphis, Tenn., from injuries suffered in an automobile accident.

He was born Feb. 7, 1988, at Jonesboro and was a student. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his parents, Gerald Daniel and Glenda Daniel of Manila: a sister, Sandra Cavazos of Manila; and a brother, Rick Parsley of Manila.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Manila with Brother Ray Dill officiating. Burial was in the Manila Cemetery under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola.
