Goldie Fern Edgin, 76, of Leachville died Tuesday, May 24, 2005, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born in the Childress Community, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Maudie Pruitt Bazzill and was a life long resident of the area. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Leachville.

Survivors include her husband, Ernest Edgin of the home; four sons, Danny Wayne Tracer of Russellville, Donald Edward Edgin and Lloyd Dean Edgin, both of Leachville, and Mark Douglas Edgin of Farley, Iowa; a daughter, Joann Carmichael of Leachville; two sisters, Werlene (Bazzill) Hout of Monette and Louise (Bazzill) Robertson of Owensboro, Ky.; 18 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

The funeral was held at 1 p.m. Friday at Howard Funeral Chapel in Leachville with Rev. Lynn Ables and Rev. Donny Morrison officiating. Burial was in the Leachville Cemetery.
