"We are playing much better," said BIC Coach Mark Hurst. "We got off to a slow start, but these girls are coming together as a team, and are working real hard. They really want to get better. They are a great group of girls to work with. The key for us is when Ashley Tate throws strikes and we play good defense. As long as we do that, we will be alright."
The Lady Mustangs will return to action Tuesday afternoon as they travel to Bay for a 4:00 contest. BIC will continue their travels on Thursday, facing Rector in another 4:00 match-up. The Lady Mustangs will conclude the week by hosting East Poinsett County Friday afternoon at 4:00.
