Willie C. Jackson Davis, 87, of the Athelstan Community near Osceola, died Friday, April 1, 2005, at Osceola Healthcare in Osceola.
Born Wednesday, Jan. 9, 1918, in Batesville, to George W. Jackson and Florence Hawkins Jackson, she was a homemaker and a member of Brinkley Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Ben Davis of Osceola, J.T. Davis of Douglasville, Ga., and Jimmy Davis of Athelstan; four brothers, Roe Jackson and Waymon Holt both of Milligan Ridge, Thurman Holt of Paragould, and Raymond Holt of Blytheville; two sisters, Alice Bunch of Jonesboro and Ludie Holt of El Dorado; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James R. Davis, a son, Russell Davis, and a brother, Wiley Holt.
Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Swift Funeral Home, Highway 61 South. The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Roller-Swift Chapel with Dr. Ed Gillham officiating.
