Mable Jewell Berry, 100, of Jonesboro, died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2005, at St. Elizabeth's Place. She was born in Okolona, Miss. and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters, Kay Stanley of Paola, Kan., and Maxine Pope of Jonesboro; a son, James Berry of Jonesboro; 14 grandchildren, Harold Edward Hamilton, Harla Jean Johnson, Pam Taylor, Pat Hamilton, Mike Hamilton, Kenny Hamilton, Tony Weaver, Kathy Clark, Le'Nelle Ritz, Kari Weaver, Ed Weaver, Hollis "Jay" Bass, Dan Dart and Lori Kay Taylor; 22 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Evans Berry; a son, Harold Hamilton; her parents, James Martin Lloyd and Lena Zela McInnis Lloyd, formerly of Leachville; a brother; four sisters; and a great-grandson.
A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden, Mo., with Kevin Lawrence officiating. Bradshaw Funeral Home of Malden was in charge of arrangements.
