Promotions announced by Heritage Bank

Steve May, president and chief executive officer, announced the promotion of two Heritage Bank employees.

Mary Jon Ashley has been promoted to Assistant Vice President/Branch Manager/Lender for the Manila location. An honor graduate of Manila High School, Ashley attended the University of Arkansas and has completed various banking courses and seminars, including the Arkansas Bankers Association Basic Lending School in Little Rock. A 2001 graduate of the Regional Leadership Program, she is a member of the Foundation Board for Arkansas Northeastern College and the Board of Directors for the Mississippi County Red Cross. Ashley and her husband V.J. "Sonny" live in Manila and have two children.

Debbie Taylor has been promoted to Vice President/Branch Manager/Lender for the Caraway location. A graduate of many banking courses and programs she earned a certificate in general banking from the American Institute of Banking, graduated the Computer Audit School, conducted by the Conference of Bank Supervisors in Memphis, Tenn., completed the Arkansas Bankers Association Lending School conducted at Arkansas State University and the Asset Liability Management School, sponsored by the Independent Bankers Association held in san Diego, Calif. She also attended Arkansas State University.

Heritage Bank is a locally owned and managed bank with locations in Jonesboro, Leachville, Monette, Manila and Caraway.
