Lorene Tucker, 92, of Blytheville died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2005, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. Born in Horn Beak, Tenn., she was a longtime Blytheville resident, a homemaker and a member of Crossroads Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Bennie Tucker of Swartz Creek, Mich., and Harvey Tucker and Jerry Tucker, both of Blytheville; three daughters, Merle Byrd of Chicago, Betty Campbell of Eads, Tenn., and Jewell Jeraldine West of Blytheville; two brothers, Lewis Johnson of Blackwell, Texas, and Lucian Johnson of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Lucille Brickell of Caraway and Mary Waln of Jonesboro; 18 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Tucker; a son, Winnard Tucker; her parents, Samuel Goldburn and Mattie Bell Cannon Johnson; a brother and a sister.
The funeral was held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Cobb Funeral Home of Blytheville with Rev. Mitchell King, Jr. officiating. Burial was in Dogwood Cemetery.
