Natasha Coffey scored 12 points as the Riverside Senior Lady Rebels outlasted Crowley;s Ridge Academy 43-32 Monday night at Lake City.
The Lady Rebels led 11-6 after the first quarter and then outscored CRA 21-4 to take a commanding 32-10 lead into the dressing room at halftime. Riverside led 40-21 entering the final frame before holding on for their 10th win of the season against nine losses.
Ashley Foster scored eight points, Marisa Johnson netted seven, Emma Wilson tallied six, Audrey Booth added four, while Miranda Boyd and Emilee Hook chipped in three points apiece to round out the Riverside scoring.
Hannah Johnson led the Lady Falcons with 12 points in the losing effort.
In the junior high contest, Riverside downed CRA 30-21 as Morgan Emery and Brianna Driver combined for 19 points. Emery led the Rebels with 10, while Driver scored nine. Kasey Davis pitched in five points, while Katey Campbell and Kailey Holt scored three points each.
CRA was led by Carrisa Foshee with nine points while Bethany Johnson added eight.
Riverside led 11-9 after the first period, before CRA came back to take a 16-15 halftime lead. The Lady Rebels rallied in the third quarter to take a 21-18 lead before outscoring the Lady Falcons 9-3 in the fourth quarter to nail down the win.
