Raymond Miller - Monette

Raymond Miller, 70, of Monette, died Saturday, Jan. 9, 2005, at Monette. He was manager of Keich Shaver Gin for 50 years, Baptist, served eight years in the Arkansas National guard, was on the Soil Conservation Committee, and Board Member of Osceola Products. He had lived in the Monette and Leachville area a lifetime.

He is survived by his wife, Dolores Miller, of the home; a sister, Mary Frances Wallace, of Monette; three brothers, Bob Miller of Monette, Jack Miller of Leachville, and James Miller of Jonesboro; a daughter, Maleisa Finch of Jonesboro; a grandson, Dustin Finch, of Jonesboro.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, J.R. and Edna Miller, and a son, Hugh Douglas Miller.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Monette Cemetery with Rev. Captain Lovell officiating. Burial will be in the Monette cemetery under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.

Active pallbearers will be employees of Keich Shaver Gin in Monette.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. this evening (Tuesday) at the funeral home.
