Michael Shane Cook, 32, of Summerville, S.C., formerly of Osceola and Dyess, died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2005, in an automobile accident at Newberry, S.C. Born at Kennett, he was a truck driver and professional wrestler. He was a former National guardsman and of the Baptist belief.

Survivors include his wife, Mona Cook of Summerville; his stepmother, Tresia Cook of Osceola; a daughter, Brittany Key of Summerville; a son, Nathaniel Key of Summerville; five sisters, Yvette Parris of Yakima, Wash., Martha "Kricket" Fisher of Blytheville, Bobby Jean Davis of Manila, Shirley Ann Cisco of Prescott and Tresia Seaton of Osceola; and a brother, Roy Cook of Gosnell.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lee Roy Cook.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today (Tuesday) at Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola with Jack Chapman officiating. Burial will be in Mississippi County Memorial Gardens.
