Harry Vernon Endicott - Manila

Harry Vernon Endicott, 76, of Manila, died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2004, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born near Caraway he was the son of the late Harry G. and Berthel Jones Endicott and had been a longtime resident of the Milligan Ridge Community near Manila. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Milligan Ridge Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dorothia Jean Endicott, of the home; a son, Gary Endicott of Caraway; a daughter, Barbara Brown of Jonesboro; a sister, Norma Jean Woodard of Northridge, Calif.; three grandchildren, Trevor Endicott, Melissa Brown, and Sara Brown.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Hensley.

The funeral was held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. Waymon Holt officiating. Burial was in the Monette Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Glenn Dobbins, Lynn Dobbins, Eugene Dobbins, Gary Dobbins, Danny Baugh, and Jimmy Williams.
