Esta Virginia Dillin - Lake City

Esta Virginia Dillin, 86, of Lake City, died Monday, Dec. 20, 2004, at Lakeside Nursing Center in Lake City. Born in Marmaduke, she lived in Lake City since 1983 and was formerly of St. Louis. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Lake City.

She is survived by two sons, Junior C. Dillin of Caulfield, Mo., and Charlie E. Dillin of Barnhart; three daughters, Faye Stahl of Jonesboro, LaWanda J. Dillin of Arnold and Elsie M. Pinnon of De Funiak Springs, Fla.; two brothers, Bobby Cleghorn and Billy Cleghorn, both of Royal Oak, Mich.; four sisters, Alma Baldwin of St. Louis, Marjorie Simpson of Leachville, Bertha McDoniel of Monette and Helen Mitchell of Bernie, Mo.; 11 grandchildren, Michael Dillin, Mark Dillin, Roger Dillin, Cleon Stahl, Annette Stahl, Christal Stahl, Jeffrey Atwater, Rhonda Graven, Kenneth Pinnon, Scott Dillin and Christina Van Doren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo E. Dillin; her parents, Silas E. Cleghorn and Cynthia A. Flatt Cleghorn; four sisters; two brothers and a grandson.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home in Arnold, Mo. Rev. Mike Dillin officiated and burial was in Shepherd Hills Cemetery at Barnhart, Mo., With Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge of local arrangements.
