Bernice Lambert - Cardwell

Bernice Lambert, 86, of Cardwell, died Friday, Nov. 26, 2004, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was a native of Red Onion.

Survivors include a son, Morris Alan Lambert of Kennett; a daughter, Anice Beasley of Cardwell; a sister, Anita Hawkins of Paragould; two granddaughters, Deanna Swindle of Cardwell and Heather Styer of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; a grandson, Adam Lambert of Las Vegas, and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris R. Lambert; her parents, A.L. Short" and Emma Richardson Mize; and four infant brothers.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist Church of Cardwell with Rev. Harold Dunbar officiating. Burial was in the Cardwell Cemetery under the direction of Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott.
