Brenda Joyce Barrett, 60, of Leachville, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004, at her residence. Born in Memphis, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Ella Rulo and the widow of Robert "Sonny" Barrett. She was a longtime Leachville area resident and the former manager of the Jr. Food Mart in Leachville. She was a devoted mother and a member of the Second Baptist Church in Leachville.

Survivors include her son, Scott Barrett of Leachville; her daughter, Sheila Huddleston of Leachville; three grandchildren, Brogdon Collins, Brandy Huddleston and Brett Bozone.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today (Tuesday) at the Second Baptist Church in Leachville with Rev. Russell Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow in the Leachville Cemetery with Howard Funeral Service of Leachville in charge of arrangements.
