Lillie Irene Jackson, 87, of the Milligan Ridge Community, near Manila, died Thursday, Oct. 14, 2004, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born at Batesville, she was the daughter of the late Isaac and Ora Wright Hicks and had been a resident of Milligan Ridge since 1938. She was a member of the Milligan Ridge Missionary Baptist church.

Survivors include her husband, Roe Jackson of the home; a daughter, Norma Jackson of Manila; sons and daughters-in-law, Dewayne and Phyllis Jackson of Jonesboro, Calvin and Pat Jackson of Jonesboro, and Loy and Donna Jackson of Manila; a sister, Willie Minton of Manila; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were 10 a.m. Saturday at Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila, Rev. Waymon Holt officiating. Burial was at Greene County Memorial Gardens in Paragould.

Grandsons, Ricky Jackson, Dwight Jackson, Rodney Jackson, Matthew Jackson, Jeremy Jackson and Rusty Jackson, served as pallbearers.

Serving as honorary pallbearers were the remaining grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Brock Haddock, Hunter Jackson, Wes Wallace, Clint Wallace, Chase Jackson, Kyle Covington, Clay Thomas Covington, Conner Jackson, Avery Jackson, Lea Ann Smithey, Robin Haddock, Christi Covington, Faith Jackson, Ashley Elinburg, Cassie Griffin, Kortnie Jackson,

Heather Haddock, Whitney Jackson and Kourtnei Jackson.
