A memorial service for Rose Imogene "Jeanne" Carlson, 79, of Leachville, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Howard Funeral Chapel in Leachville. Mrs. Carlson died Sept. 15, 2004. Mrs. Carlson's niece, Marsha McGaughy, will deliver the eulogy.

The family has asked that memorials be made to the Marshall Conner Endowment Fund, c/o Ken Hoppe, 100 College Dr., Paragould, AR.

Mrs. Carlson was born at Caraway, the daughter of the late Thomas L. and Lillie Marshall Conner. She was the widow of Glen Carlson. She was a retired school teacher and member of the Church of Christ.
