Minnie Lou Williams, representing Manila Nursing Center at the District IV Queen Pageant, won second runner-up.

Williams recently was crowned queen at the Manila Nursing Center pageant and represented MNC in the district pageant.
She was one of 21 contestants from facilities across the district.
"She represented us well," Melinda Crawford, activity director, said.
Ms. Williams was accompanied by her daughter, Mary Jon Ashley, who served as her escort; Sheri Doty, MNC administrator; Crawford and Dawnna Cater, staff members at MNC.
Mrs. Williams said it was a fun day and she enjoyed the pageant as well as making new friends.
Mrs. Williams was a hairdresser for over 20 years.
