Juanita M. Mondy, 69, of Killeen, Texas, formerly of Walnut Ridge, died at her home Saturday, Sept. 4, 2004.

She was born Oct. 11, 1934, in Rolla, Mo. She was united in marriage to Joseph Mondy on July 3, 1952. She worked as a model and inspector for R&M Kaufman in Aurora, Ill., before moving to Killeen in 1980. She was a member of the Church of Christ of Killeen.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Mondy of the home.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Lawrence Memorial Cemetery with Darrell Douglas officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Higginbotham Chapel of Walnut Ridge.
