Mike Sexton - Monette

Mike Sexton, 45, of Monette, died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2004, at his home.

He was a truck driver, of the Assembly of God faith, and had lived in the Monette area a lifetime.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Sexton, of the home; his mother, Angie Sexton, of Monette; his maternal grandmother, Cordie Sexton, of Monette; a brother, Steve Sexton of Monette.

He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin Sexton, and a brother, Stan Sexton.

A graveside service at Monette Cemetery will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday with Rev. J.R. McElhannon and Rev. Terry Miller officiating. Gregg Funeral Home of Monette is in charge of the arrangements.

Active pallbearers will be Keith Metheny, Robert Harrell, Bill Carle, Rickey Corter, Steve Holland and Brian Ross.

Honorary pallbearers will be nephews, Josh George, Jeremy George, Keith Sexton, Brett Sexton, Zachary Metheny, Heath Horvath, and Sydney Sexton.

Visitation will be this evening (Tuesday) from 6-8 p.m. at the Gregg Funeral Home in Monette.
