Mickey Joe Davis, 40, of Leachville, died Thursday, Aug. 5, 2004, at his home.
Born at Jonesboro, he was the son of the late Jimmy C. Davis and was a 1982 graduate of Lake City High School. He owned and operated Davis Construction Company and had been a Leachville resident since 1987. He was a member of the Rowe's Chapel Baptist Church near Caraway.
Survivors include his wife, Amy Austin Davis, of the home; three sons, Brock Davis of Leachville, Lance Davis and Daniel Davis, both of the home; his mother, Barbara Davis, of Lake City; two brothers, Mike Davis of Conway and Jim Davis of Lake City; three sisters, Myra Davis, Mary Lee Davis and Susan Scott, all of Lake City.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Rev. Mike Tabor officiating. Burial was in the Lake City Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Kenny Jackson, Rodney Robertson, Justin Wildy, Vic Qualls, Steve Adams, and Jerry Austin.
Honorary pallbearers were Gary Owens, Donnie Hutchison, L.C. Austin, Jim Ladd, Don Strait, Glen Qualls and Ron Brooks.
