Norma Jean Parker, 65, of Monette, died Monday, July 19, 2004, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.
She was born March 6, 1939, at Deerfield, Mich. She was a homemaker and had lived in Moentte since 1969. She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, William Travis Parker, of the home; three sons, William Dexter Parker of Portland, Oregon, Norman Dean Parker of Gassville and Eric Dale Parker of Monette; a daughter, Keyonna Deonna Hemminger of Monette; two brothers, Jimmy Crunkilton of Deerfield, Mich., and Curtis Crunkilton of Tecumsch, Mich.; a sister, Carol Ann Bergermeister of Blissfield, Mich.; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Monette with Jim Rupert officiating. Burial was in Monette Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
Active pallbearers were Richard Ewing, Chad Parker, Charlie Parker, Scott McDonald, William Dexter Parker, Jim Hemminger, and Eric Dale Parker.
