Ocie Alice McDonel, 89, of Senath Nursing Center died Wednesday, July 7, 2004, at Twin Rivers Medical Center in Kennett.

Formerly of Etowah, she was a homemaker and attended Etowah Pentecostal Church of God.

Survivors include two daughters, Geraldine Allen of Atoka, Tenn., and Vivalee Langston of West Memphis; two sisters, Hazel Lawson of Jonesboro and Ann Clark of Walnut, Miss.; three grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Royce McDonel, four brothers and a grandson.

A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Manila Cemetery under the direction of Murphy's Funeral Home of Lepanto. Alvin Wilbanks officiated.
