Samuel A. Mabe, 74, of Bay died Wednesday, June 30, 2004, at his home.
Born in Tuckerman, he was a lifetime resident of the Jonesboro area and a construction worker.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Don Mabe of Trumann and Bobby Mabe of Bay; a daughter, Barbara Tampos of Kansas; two brothers, Leroy Mabe of Trumann and Walter Mabe of Viola; five sisters, Joyce Jones of Black Oak, Ruby Mae Story of Jonesboro, Mary Evelyn Griggs of Austin, Texas, Mildred Dillinger of Viola and Martha Johnson of Joliet, Ill.; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Mabe.
A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Trinity Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth Doke officiating. Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home of Jonesboro was in charge of arrangements.
