Doris Pauline Huggins, 89, of Jonesboro died Friday, July 2, 2004, at Skill Care Nursing Center.

She was a homemaker and had lived most of her life in Rector and Paragould. She was a member of Walnut Ridge First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, William Orlie Hugins II of Oakland, Calif.; a daughter, Gala June Reed of Jonesboro; two grandchildren, Mike Price of Paragould and Michelle Trigs of Birmingham, Ala.; two step-grandchildren, Shaine Keasler of Caraway and Dusty Brown of Paragould; and two step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Orlie Huggins, and her parents, John William Medlin and Alta Lou Miller Huggins.

A graveside service was held at 3 p.m. Sunday in Woodland Heights Cemetery at Rector with Shane Stovall officiating. Irby Funeral Service of Rector was in charge of arrangements.
