Oscar "O.C." Carmichael, 62, of Jonesboro, died Saturday, July 3, 2004, at his home.
Born at Monette, he was a retired service station owner and a Marine Corps veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Liz Carmichael; two daughters, Sandenia Carmichael of Ravenden and Belinda Hodge of Paragould; six grandchildren, Mallory Lyons, Kristi Lyons, William Hall, Sarah Hodge, Carrie Hodge, and Robbie Hodge; four sisters, Betty Brewer of Mountain View, Thelma Adams, Vena Brewer, and Francis Carmichael, all of Manila; and three brothers, Lloyd Carmichael of Monette, Raymond "Shorty" Carmichael, and Buck Carmichael, both of JOnesboro.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Mary Carmichael, and two brothers, Bill Carmichael and Roy Carmichael.
A graveside service was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Monette Cemetery with Steve Farmer officiating. Langford-Bookout Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
