Lenna Agnes Poe - Caraway

Lenna Agnes Poe, 87, of Caraway, died Tuesday, May 25, 2004, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Retired from American Greetings Corp., she was a member of Caraway Church of Christ, and had lived in Caraway most of her life.

She is survived by a brother, Leonard Fox, of Corinth, Miss.; a son, Ronnie Poe, of Nesbit, Miss.; four daughters, Laverne Rose of Cross Plains, Tenn., Wilma Hoffman of Ward, Charlene Ashmore of Imperial, Mo., and Charolette Hicks of Caraway; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Poe, Oct. 6, 2003.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Caraway Church of Christ with John Shadowens officiating. Burial was in the Caraway Cemetery under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.
