Clara M. O'Dell, 74, of Belton, Mo., died May 11, 2004. She was born in Leachville on March 1, 1930, moving to the Kansas City area in 1946. She sold real estate for Johnson and Pollick and insurance in Colorado, Kansas and Missouri, having retired in 1981.

She is survived by four daughters, Patricia Weaver of Cocoa Beach, Fla., Barbara Carr, Manila, Cheryl McMillen and Marla Edie of Independence, Mo.; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a sister, Innis bridges of Leachville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Millie and T.C. "Cleve" Owens, her husband, one brother and two sisters.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 14, at McGilley and George Belton Chapel. Burial was in Belton Cemetery.
