Benny Easley, 69, of Coldwater, Miss., formerly of Blytheville, died Friday, May 14, 2004, at Baptist Memorial Hospital East in Memphis. Born in Burdette, he was a retired supply clerk for Nibco Manufacturing Co. and a member of the Arkabulta Baptist Church in Arkabulta, Miss.
Survivors include his wife, Willie Banks Easley of the home; nine daughters, Debbie O'Kane, Donna Duncan and Kim Young, all of Osceola; Penny Pannell of Manila, Melissa Wilson of Searcy, Debbie Ray of Rogers, Sandra Strop of Pocahontas, Yvonne Brewer of Orlando, Fla., and Janet Chunn of Cape Neddick, Maine; a son, Bruce Easley of Osceola; two brothers, Joe Easley of Osceola and Larry Easley of Baton Rouge, La.; a sister, Patricia Collums of Blytheville; 29 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Lee Easley and Sally Elizabeth Aycock Easley; three brothers; and a sister.
The funeral was held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Chapel of Cobb Funeral Home in Blytheville with Rev. Tim Cline and Rev. Mike brewer officiating. Entombment was in the Dogwood Mausoleum in Dogwood Cemetery.
