Emma Loue Jones, 74, of Manila died Monday, April 26, 2004, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born in Covington, Tenn., she had lived most of her life in Manila, was a homemaker and attended First United Methodist Church in Manila.

Survivors include a son, Thomas Olmstead of Tennessee; a daughter, Peggy Sloan of Tennessee; a brother, Frank Cannon of Covington; three sisters, Evelyn Wells of Blytheville, Marie Billings of Athens, Tenn., and Helen Whitehead of Conway; and several grandchildren.

The funeral was private and under the direction of Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro.

No visitation is planned.
