DruElla Fisher - Jonesboro

DruElla Fisher, 89, of Jonesboro, died Friday, April 30, 2004, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

She was born in the Herman Community and lived in the Childress Community before moving to Jonesboro 61 years ago. She had worked as a salesperson for Dillard's Department Store for 20 years and was a member of Central Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, M.L. Fisher, of the home; three sons, Billy Wayne Dunn, of Jonesboro, Bobby Gene Dunn, of Birmingham, Ala., and Al Fisher, of Trumann; a daughter, Shirley Jo Book, of Fenton, Mich.; and 15 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lindsey and Zella Smith, a sister, Margaret Cullen, and by two brothers, Jimmy Randle and Robert Armour.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Emerson Memorial chapel with Rev. Dwight Harrison officiating. Burial was in the Herman Cemetery under the direction of the Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro.

Pallbearers were Charlie Whitt, Herb Stallings, Donnie Dunn, Steve Dunn, Tony Book, and Matt Fisher.
